The last half of May is not totally wonderful and easy, but

indicates good fortune with money, work and career if we are practical, persistent
and reliable. Beginning students get
excited when they see Grand Trines (when three planets are each about 120

realize such good periods, we must really work to get really good results. The three planets involved in this Grand
Trine are Mars, Pluto and Mercury. Mars

The planet of love and money, Venus, trines (is about 120
degrees from) Saturn, bringing opportunities for benefits through older people
and bosses. It’s a great time for
business and investments because you are willing to do the hard work necessary
to have good results. Relationships turn
serious and can be very good for people who are responsible for themselves as
well as others.
Grand Cross April 1 through May 19, 2012 brings
emotionalism and challenges.
Neptune, Mars and the
Moon’s Nodes form a Grand Cross in the sky, indicating excess emotionalism, confusion
and challenges. I prefer the word challenges
to other words I might use, as challenges can be overcome and can encourage
drive and achievement.
Neptune in Pisces has a
hard time focusing on worldly matters. It
can be imaginative, spiritual, caring and wanting to provide service to other people
and animals, but it can also be easily deceived.
Mars in Virgo wants to get
work done, but it tends to worry and be overly critical. And then when Mars opposes (is about 180
degrees from) Neptune, it can have unrealistic expectations, further
exacerbating those qualities of worrying and being hypercritical. During this time we need to pay attention to our
surroundings and work on seeing situations and people the way they really are,
not how we hope them to be. We should be
on guard against accidents, negative thinking, worry, poisoning and escapism,
possibly through drugs and alcohol.
Artistic and creative pursuits and service are good ways to channel this
energy.
To further add to the potency of this energy between Mars and
Neptune, the Moon’s Nodes get into the action and are squaring (about 90
degrees from) the opposition of Mars and Neptune. Moon’s Nodes are where the Moon’s path
crosses the Earth’s path around the Sun.
There are two Nodes, where the Moon’s path goes north of the Earth’s
path, and then when it goes south of the Earth’s path. Vedic astrologers attach enormous power to
them and think they are active whenever events happen that are noticed all over
the world.

through May 31, 2012.
Energetic Mars trines (is about 120 degrees from) Pluto,
making this a good time to aggressively start new projects, and work hard to
accomplish goals. Your efforts will be
rewarded. Pluto is connected to
elimination—get rid of junk and clutter. This is a great time for spring cleaning.

June 13, 2015.
Uranus and Pluto are so far
from the Sun that they take a long time to go around the Sun and through the
signs of the zodiac. When they form
angles with other outer planets, those aspects are in effect for a long
time. Uranus and Pluto form a square
aspect (are about 90 degrees from each other) for more than three years,
forming an underlying background for the other planetary aspects. We will not notice their effect every day of
this period, but we will notice major changes that can be attributable to these
planets. Uranus brings the
unpredictable, the unusual and the eccentric.
It is a very freedom-loving planet and it can be rebellious and strong-willed. Pluto is explosive, powerful and eliminates
what is no longer needed. Uranus is in
Aries, a strong and independent sign, and Pluto is in Capricorn, which rules
structures, laws and governments. During
this three-year period, we will see upheavals, struggles, revolutions,
rebellions, unusual weather patterns and abrupt earth changes—volcanoes and
earthquakes.
Take care while communicating and traveling May
29 to June 3, 2012.
While Mercury is in a
stressful aspect (a 90-degree square) to Mars, take care while speaking,
writing and traveling. Mars is quick,
forceful, argumentative, foolhardy and accident-prone. It is also quick to take offense and
irritable. Don’t say or write anything
while angry. Calm yourself down first. I would not cancel any trips under this
period, but would be sure I drive under the speed limit and take extra
care.

is in Taurus where it will remain until June 11, 2012. Long-lasting aspects bring slow results, but
over time, hard work and patience can create good outcomes. Jupiter brings blessings, opportunities, luck
