Focus now on relationships as you can easily and naturally expand them beyond where they have been before. Boy, will I be answering questions about relationships this month! When I use the word relationships, of course I am talking about romantic relationships, but I am also including all relationships we have in our lives.Relationships are emphasized this month as Venus has heavy aspects with other planets and there is a preponderance of planets in Libra. Astrologers look at the angles-called aspects--between planets, as they have a big impact on the amount of energy planets have. Venus, the planet of love and relationships, has several aspects to other planets this month.
October also starts out with three planets plus the Sun in Libra, the sign that rules relationships and marriage, and still has one planet in Libra when the month ends. Please keep reading to see how all this might affect you.
Romance blossoms with Venus and Neptune October 3 to 12, 2011.Venus is in an easy trine (about 120 degrees from) Neptune, bringing romance to the forefront. Possible stress in relationships October 19 to November 3, 2011.With Venus squaring (about 90 degrees from) fiery Mars during this period, relationships can be challenging if your expectations are too high. Guard against being hypersensitive and try not to fight. From October 27 to November 3, 2011 confusing Neptune joins this aspect by opposing Mars and squaring Venus making some wonder what is going on in their relationships. It may be hard to distinguish fact from fiction.
The Sun in Libra from September 23 to October 22, 2011 emphasizes relationships. Libra is the sign of the zodiac that rules relationships and marriage. This is a good time to look at our relationships to see how we can improve them and make them more harmonious. Work on this area can bring good results.

It is great for getting rid of clutter, renewing and healing.
Intensity can be good if it is channeled well, but it is good to remember HALT. The letters H, A, L and T stand for hungry, angry, lonely and tired. We may want to HALT starting any important conversations when we are hungry, angry, lonely or tired. We are not able to handle emotional exchanges well under these conditions and discussions have the potential of flaring up into angry confrontations. Uranus continues its square to Pluto through November 30, 2011, bringing upheavals, new beginnings, freedom urges, uprisings, unrest, earth changes and unusual weather. These two outer planets move slowly and inexorably. When they stay in a stressful aspect such as a square (about 90 degrees from each other) it is not an easy time for the world, especially in the areas that the planets rule. Pluto rules power, corruption, global wars, big money, government money, crime, the Mafia, atomic power, nuclear reactors, bombs, floods, corruption, dictators, volcanoes and earthquakes. Uranus rules the unexpected, freedom, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, unusual weather and technology.
On a personal level, we may feel blocked, frustrated and stressed out. The areas the planets rule that are listed above affect people personally. Any aspect is better than no aspect as it brings energy to make needed changes and correct imbalances. We can use this energy to help us create what we want in life. If life were all trines, we would be fat, lazy and unmotivated. Squares urge us into action.
