The year of 2012 is challenging for our country with unpredictable and unexpected tests. Our economy has ups and downs.
Astrologers have many ways to forecast. One way is called secondary progressions—when an astrologer draws up a map of the heavens for as many days after birth as a person is in years. For example, if a person is 27 years old, the map of the heavens is made for 27 days after the person’s birth. The theory is that there is a connection or a correlation between the small and the large. Kind of like the connection or correlation between the smaller you and the larger heavens. You can also progress a country’s astrology chart.
In the United States’ progressed astrology chart, the Sun is exactly 90 degrees—a hard aspect--from Uranus. The Sun rules the leader of the country, as well as other persons in power and authority. It also shows the will of the people. Uranus is unpredictable, erratic and freedom-loving. It rules hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes and unusual weather. Since the Sun is in the section of the country’s chart that rules home, and Uranus is in the section that rules enemies, our enemies cause dramatic challenges for us.
In addition to the above, transiting Uranus in the sky this year continues its slow and long-lasting visit through our country’s eighth house of money, causing ups and downs in our economy. This year it is in the exact degree of the zodiac as our country’s birth Venus and Jupiter, adding even more power to upsets and changes. Since Uranus rules new technology, that is one area of the economy that can prosper. Old ways of doing business get shaken up.
Get rid of clutter from 10:33 a.m. Central Time January 16, 2012 through 1:28 p.m. Central Time January 18, 2012.
Many people have been telling me that they have been using the times that the Moon is in Scorpio to get rid of clutter and it helps. The Moon in Scorpio during these two and a half days means it is a good time to get rid of what no longer serves you, from those old coupons in your junk drawer to anyone whose negativity dampens your spirits. One of the most important things I tell people when I do a Feng Shui consultation is to get rid of clutter. I define clutter as anything that you do not love, want or use. If you haven’t used it in more than a year, it might be a good idea to throw it away, give it away or sell it.
Communications are intense January 16 and 17, 2012.
With Mercury the planet of communication sitting very close in the sky with passionate and forceful Pluto, it’s a good time for expressing your deep thoughts, but be careful not to let conversations get out of hand. Don’t even try to change another’s beliefs.
Love, social life, money and possessions flourish if you use reason January 8 to 18, 2012.
Venus, the planet of love, social life, money and possessions has two aspects during these days. One is a steadying trine to Saturn. If you make sure that you use common sense and also that the person you are interested in is worthy of you, it can be wonderful for love and social life. Buying expensive, long-lasting items can bring you much pleasure if you do your homework before buying them.
The other aspect is a conjunction to Neptune (about 0 degrees from each other). Neptune can be romance, unconditional love, spiritual love or self-deceit or deceit from another. With Neptune it can be very hard to tell the difference until after the aspect is over. Listen to what your family members, friends and astrologer say about the other person before you throw caution to the winds.
Great for artistic pursuits and listening to your intuition October 23, 2011 to April 12, 2012.
Saturn is an earthy planet, bringing stability and reliability to whatever it touches. Saturn trines (is about 120 degrees from) ethereal Neptune, which means it is a great time to work on and finish artistic projects and use your intuition to benefit your life. Listen to your hunches. This aspect is great for being able to use psychic ability.
Disagreements until February 20, 2012.
Jupiter continues its long-term opposition to (is about 180 degrees from) Saturn, showing opposition between people who feel optimistic and those who feel fearful. Oppositions often mean that people see situations in totally opposite ways and find little or nothing to compromise about. Since this is a long-term aspect, it will be interesting to watch how it plays out in politics in the United States and between countries. This aspect can bring much contention, difficulty and discord. As always, we have the choice to respectfully disagree.
Good news for the economy and for you.
I realize that this seems to contradict what I wrote earlier about the country having an erratic financial time this year. Jupiter is in Taurus where it will remain until June 11, 2012. Long-lasting aspects bring slow results, but over time, hard work and patience can create good outcomes. Jupiter brings blessings, opportunities, luck and expansion, and Taurus is a financial sign. Taurus is also slow moving, conservative and patient. Jupiter enlarges what it touches, so inflation may be part of the picture. Jupiter in Taurus is a fortunate time for making money if you are prudent and don’t expect to get rich overnight. I expect that the people who already have big money will continue to make big bonuses. With Jupiter in this sign, YOU should take advantage of opportunities to enlarge your financial picture. Do you have the money you want? If not, what do you need to do to get it? Are you doing what you need to do? Do you have multiple sources of income?
