September 1 through 15, 2012

 

Set your sails and hold on to your hats.  This two-week period has lots of active planetary influences. 

 

 

        I love this poem because it explains how I believe we should use the planetary forecasts.  It is helpful to know which way the astrological wind is blowing and how hard it is blowing, so we can use the wind to help us get where we want to go.  So here, once again, is the poem.

        Major transformations February 27, 2012 through June 13, 2015.

Uranus and Pluto are so far from the Sun that they take a long time to go around the Sun and through the signs of the zodiac.  When they form angles with other outer planets, those aspects are in effect for a long time.  Uranus squares Pluto (is about 90 degrees from) for more than three years, forming an underlying background for the other planetary aspects. 

We will not notice their effect every day of this period, but we will notice major changes that can be attributable to these planets.  Uranus brings the unpredictable, the unusual and the eccentric.  It is a very freedom-loving planet and it can be rebellious and strong-willed.  Pluto is explosive, powerful and eliminates what is no longer needed.   Uranus is in Aries, a strong and independent sign, and Pluto is in Capricorn, which rules structures, laws and governments. 

During this three-year period, we will see upheavals, struggles, revolutions, rebellions, unusual weather patterns and abrupt earth changes—volcanoes and earthquakes. 

 

Great for artistic, musical and creative pursuits August 16 through September 4, 2012.

        Mars trining (is about 120 degrees from) Neptune indicates this is a wonderful time for starting or enjoying anything artistic, musical or creative, either participating yourself or watching others. 

 

        Listen to your intuition August 16 through November 28, 2012.

        Saturn trining (is about 120 degrees from) Neptune makes this a great time for having your intuition and psychic abilities be useful for you.  Pay attention to what your instincts are telling you. 

 

        Great time to eliminate what is not for your highest good and be passionate about changing your life August 23 through September 5, 2012.

        The Sun trining (is about 120 degrees from) Pluto during this time, making it terrific to get rid of what no longer serves you and throw yourself into creating the life you want.  You have lots of energy and persistence to reach your goals. 

 

        Guard against negative thinking August 28 through September 8, 2012.

        With pessimistic Saturn squaring (is about 90 degrees from) Venus during this time, we need to watch what we are thinking and telling ourselves and others.  Don’t give in to seeing situations in a more negative light than necessary or having poverty consciousness. 

       

        Watch out for deception August 29 through September 4, 2012. 

        Neptune opposing Mercury means that we need to be careful we are not deceived by others or by ourselves, that we are understood and understand others and that we are careful while traveling.

 

        Guard against being overly optimistic and foolhardy August 31 through September 13, 2012.

        The Sun squares (is about 90 degrees from) Jupiter now, bringing a tendency for us to take risks and engage in excessive behavior.  

 

        Good for accessing situations quickly September 1 through September 7, 2012.

            With Mercury, the planet of the mind, trining (is about 120 degrees from) Pluto, you are able to understand people and situations quickly, through being rational as well as using your intuition.  This is a good time for focused study and getting work done efficiently.

 

        Good for communication and intellectual pursuits September 1 through 16, 2012. 

        The Sun and Mercury are close to each other in the sky during this period, making it a good time to communicate clearly and use our minds.  We may like to communicate our ideas but also need to be interested in listening to others. 

 

        Prioritize September 6 through 12, 2012.

        With Mercury squaring (is about 90 degrees from) Jupiter, we can have so many ideas running through our heads and have so many things we need to do, we need to take a breath and sit down and sort out what are the most important tasks facing us.  To-do lists work great if we stick to them and don’t get distracted.

 

        Positive changes with love and relationships September 7 through 18, 2012. 

        The planet of love and relationships is in a great trine (is about 120 degrees from) the planet of excitement and change, Uranus.  It’s a great time to be with loved ones and friends and spice up your life by doing what you never thought you would do before. 

 

        Cultivate patience from September 14 through October 12, 2012.

Venus squaring (is about 90 degrees from) Mars can mean we are impatient with others, with ourselves and with our lives in general.  Hey, this time period can help us memorize the Serenity Prayer. 

 

        Good news for education, communication and travel.

        Jupiter is in Gemini where it will remain for several months.  Jupiter is the planet of good fortune.  Gemini is the sign of education, communication, travel, neighbors and siblings.  Jupiter brings the opportunities, but we must do our part.
